The Eagles were established in 2022 and have been coached and supported from Soccer School to now under the supervision of the manager ‘Ben’. The team has a high volume of successful players who have been offered places at both Yeovil Town FC and Saints Southwest performance centres.
Football unites this team. On and off the pitch they encourage and build team relationships and confidence by coordinating events throughout the season. They have entered numerous tournaments, watched multiple professional matches, organised end of season parties, arranged Christmas events and lots more! Throughout the season they have professional footballers attend training sessions to coach the children. From this, they get the opportunity with a ‘one-to-one’ coaching experience with a professional and the opportunity to meet their icons.
The team learns that co-operation is vital but also the joy of being in a football team. They focus on player development and understanding of the sport whilst incorporating the club’s ethos.
Honours: Fair play winners at Ilchester Tournament July 22. Youngest player within the club to win the highest goal scorer shield for the season 22/23. Runners up in the U7 Champions Plate 22/23
